Something Special from Door CountyAt SSF Door County we visit local Door County Businesses, view their locally made products or locally offered services, and in cases where we believe they meet the necessary standards and criteria of our program, award them the 'SSFD' Seal of Approval.

To their customers, the Seal demonstrates that at least 50% of the cost of the product has been invested in local Door County labor or raw materials/ingredients. We are committed to promoting the products and services of businesses who proactively promote the 'Door County Made' philosophy of doing business, since we believe it is essential to our local economy to keep the revenues local. Importing products from overseas or even other parts of the Country might help add a little to the bottom line in the short term, but it is an unsustainable concept.

Keep it local and offer your customers 'Something Special From Door County'.
